i bought this book as i am going through a family crisis in my life. i've made mistakes, i was not the best husband, father, son, brother, Christian man i could be. I ordered this book in July when my wife of 5yrs love of 8 years walked out the door with our 3 beautiful children. i didnt know what to do. i didnt know how to get her back. Most importantly i didnt know where to start in correcting my mistakes. I do not have the awesome success story that movies are made of. But this book is a sincere wake up call to all Men of Faith out there. This book is a gift from GOD to set me up on solid ground as i walk in faith in with him. I am working on rebuilding my life one day at a time and I now have the strong burning desire to be nothing more than a True Kingdom Man of GOD. I dont know where my future lies with my family but i trust that GOD is always on time. At the young age of 31 i've seen my share of pain. This book will help to ensure that with GOD on my side i will not see more pain in the future. Whatever you are going through or if you are simply to improve yourself as a man. Amazing and life changing. I've really enjoyed reading this book with my churches mens bible study.
It’s a good book and as a woman I learned things and was enlightened of things about my husband, son, brothers, father and other men in my life. I would recommend it to all men and young boys.
I really didn’t want to title this as a pipe dream, but that’s exactly what it is. My reasons for saying that are as follows; most people in our society won’t give up their schedules, tv shows, questionable movies, climbing the corporate ladder, or anything else to become what this well written bible based book is about. Go to any restaurant & observe 80% of customers are on there phones, parents & children alike. Loved the book, & will attempt to try living out some of its principles.
Evans does an amazing job showing men what God expects. If you truly want to be the man God calls you to be, this book will teach and encourage you. Of course what this book says matters little if you don't apply what you learn from it and scripture. After only one and a half days of applying this knowledge, I could see a difference in the way my wife responded to me. Men, Evans is undeniably a tool of the Lord. Read and see for yourself!
Awesome book. Helps every man realize his God created calling to lead, love, and be great. It is written directly to men in a way that is easy to understand and recall. Great stories and word pictures. Helps turn a man into a Kingdom Man. Great author.
Any man who truly wants to be a better husband, father, brother, friend, boss, and or employee needs to read this book. Tony has a done a great job of taking all the subjects matters we should have learned from our fathers and put them into an easy to understand book with practical application.
